Seasoning the grid prevents food adhesion, rust, debris accumulation, make it easier to remove small debris, and extend the life of the grid. Maintenance for stainless grill grids
Stainless steel grill grids do not require as much maintenance as cast iron grids. They are able to keep even heat for long periods of time.although you may notice a little discoloration after some time of use.the stainless steel will change from yellow to nearly black. This copper green is very good, it can protect itself from corrosion. The first few uses of stainless steel cooking grids will prove a bit sticky as the copper rust is not yet formed. After performing the first use maintenance, remember to have the food fully cooked on one side, and then try flipping it again. Once the food exposed to the grid is fully cooked, the food is self-released. Expert tips: Do not barbecue frozen food, especially on the new stainless steel grill grid. Heat causes the food to shrink and stick to a hot surface.
Maintenance for first time using a stainless steel grill grids, follow the following steps
Remove the grill grid and wash with warm soapy water and soft cloth.

Preheat the grill grid when preparing for cooking.
Brush off any debris from previous meals
Use high temperature oil ,such as melted Crisco, vegetable oil, or rapeseed oil, and brush your grill grid carefully.
